It is estimated that 70 per cent of the population lives on less than US$2 a day and 25 per cent survives on less than US$1 a day.
We hope that by improving the health of the people, they will be more fit and able to provide for themselves and their families.
To help achieve this, we work to provide clean water, labour skills training, shelter and provision for food. As well, we provide basic health care through medical clinics funded by us through fundraising and generous donations.
This work is done by volunteers who travel to Nicaragua and work with local people on these projects.
